quantum-break-release-delay

Gamers aren’t always happy when a title that they are looking forward to is delayed. Unfortunately there is bad news today for Xbox One owners who have been anxiously waiting for the exclusive Quantum Break’s release. The developer, Remedy Entertainment, confirmed today that the Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break has been delayed.

This isn’t the first delay that gamers could easily stomach. Quantum Break was actually supposed to be released back in 2014 but was delayed to 2015.

Even though no confirmed release date was provided there was hope among Xbox One owners that this title would be released at some point this year. That’s not going to happen. Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that Quantum Break is now expected to be released in 2016.

Shannon Loftis, Head of Publishing at Microsoft Studios said “With so many Xbox One games launching this year, moving Quantum Break to 2016 extends our incredible portfolio into next year with a monster new IP.”

Quantum Break is created by Remedy Entertainment, a studio that has previously worked on titles like Alan Wake and Max Payne. It features live action elements mixed with intense action game features into “one revolutionary entertainment adventure.”

Remedy’s creative director Sam Lake thanked the fans for their patience and assured them that the team is taking this time to “polish and fine tune the game” further so that it can meet fans’ expectations.
