mi note blackEarlier this year Xiaomi introduced the Mi Note phablet, and in the months that followed, the company unleashed a couple of different color variants of the handset, such as the Mi Note Pink Edition and the Mi Note Natural Bamboo Edition. As it turns out the company is simply not done with its color variations as they have announced the Mi Note Black Edition.

This handset, according to the company, is a limited edition device that will retail for about $400, although considering that Xiaomi’s presence in the US is almost non-existence, chances are you will need to go to Asia to grab it or maybe you could find it via grey imports. That being said, as a bonus, Xiaomi will be bundling Chinese singer Jason Zhang’s album together with the handset.

If you haven’t heard of Zhang, don’t worry, but apparently he is a pretty big deal over in Asia as this would mark his 10th album release. Xiaomi plans on only releasing 30,000 units of the Mi Note Black Edition so safe to say, it really will be quite limited and with Xiaomi having the uncanny ability to sell handsets like hotcakes, we reckon this model should be snapped up in no time.

That being said, apart from the difference in color and packaging, the rest of the handset’s hardware will remain exactly the same.
