The other day we reported that according to a review of the Apple Watch, it revealed how useful the device is for users who are living with disabilities. The reviewer in question suffers from Usher Syndrome Type 2a which basically means she is hearing and visually impaired, but thanks to the Apple Watch, it has helped enrich her life.

Recently a new video for CNN Money has surfaced which shows how exactly those who are deaf are able to use the Apple Watch to their advantage. Basically in the video above, Steve DeLuca describes how the Apple Watch has helped improve his life. For starters, through the wearable, he is able to adjust his hearing aid remotely.

This allows him to switch between different modes, such as using the hearing aid as a Bluetooth music receiver, or using it to listen to environmental sounds like traffic around him. He is also able to fine-tune the device depending on the situation, like in an outdoors environment or in a more quiet setting.

Granted one could always use their smartphone and an accompanying app to control their hearing aid, however with an Apple Watch, all of this can be done on their wrist which is a lot faster and more efficient.
