The spring update for Battlefield 4 is going to be released tomorrow and it’s going to bring new weapons as well as a new multiplayer mode. Gamers who have been wishing for something new to arrive for this title only have to wait until tomorrow, they’ll be able to get their hands on the new mode as well as some new weapons. This should keep the game interesting for the time being, before they decide if they want to go up to Hardline or not.

Battlefield 4 developer DICE has confirmed that the spring update for this title is going to bring five new weapons and it brings back the “Gun Master” team deathmatch.

Before the update is sent out an hour of multiplayer downtime will go in effect, DICE has issued the schedule for this downtime so gamers can check that out and plan their sessions accordingly.

DICE has not provided screenshots of the new weapons and has not even named the five new additions, but it has been revealed that these weapons are new editions of the assault rifle, PDW, sidearm, carbine and LMG.

The “Gun Master” mode became popular in Battlefield 3: Close Quarters, it’s a team deathmatch playlist that doesn’t let players choose their own weapons. Matchmakers decide from five presets what players can use and then things get quite interesting from there.

Battlefield 4 spring update also brings netcode and stability fixes for the title.
