etc-jewelry-fo-brotherhood-thumbIt has been heavily speculated that after what felt like forever that Bethesda could finally announce Fallout 4 at E3 2015. This was strengthened by the fact that the company had scheduled their own press conference, and now thanks to a recent listing on the Bethesda Store, Fallout 4 is all but confirmed.

The listing in question is for a Fallout accessory in the form of the Brotherhood of Steel necklace. According to the accessory’s description, “Cast in solid sterling silver and blackened for contrast, the medallion is a little over one inch in diameter. On the front is the Brotherhood of Steel insignia, raised and high polished, and on the reverse, the numbers 2077. Pendant slides along a 21 inch long 3mm thick braided black cord – the supple genuine leather is vegetable dyed and secures with a sterling silver hook clasp.”

Now some of you guys are thinking that this is just an accessory, nothing more, it shouldn’t really be that big of a deal, right? Normally you would be right, but why would Bethesda all of sudden decide to start selling products based on a franchise they haven’t updated in a while, unless they were planning on announcing a new one.

The necklace’s estimated shipping date is also set for the 30th of June which is after E3 2015 and presumably after the announcement of Fallout 4. In any case it could be nothing or it could be something, but with the necklace priced at $110, it is a bit pricey and definitely not for your average gamer.
