gs6miniTo be or not to be, that is the question. Well, it looks like there might very well be a mini version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 after all, as evident by this particular device which is in the pipeline by Samsung, sporting a Snapdragon 808 chipset, with many being ready to place their bets that this would be the Galaxy S6 mini. In a GFX Benchmark database reading that shares quite a number of information on the upcoming compact Samsung device, several details on its innards have been revealed.

For starters, this new Samsung Galaxy device will come with the SM-G9198 model number, and it looks like it will arrive with a 4.6″ HD display (1280 x 768 resolution) while the Snapdragon 808 chipset will keep it chugging along just fine. It would be good to know that the Snapdragon 808 chipset is also the very same one that powers the recently revealed LG G4, where it boasts of a 6-core CPU (2x Cortex-A57 and 4x Cortex-A53), an Adreno 418 GPU and 2GB RAM.

Apart from that, the SM-G9198 will also sport a 16MP shooter at the back that does Full HD video recording, and a 5MP selfie shooter in front. Expect it to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop right out of the box, and we cannot wait to see whether this will be known as the Galaxy S6 mini or not.
