google_searchGoogle search has a pretty cool feature in which it can eerily predict what you want to search for, which for the most part has been pretty spot on. However for the most part, you’d have to wait for the search page to load before you can get your answers, like asking for the weather, time in a particular city, and so on.

However as spotted by the folks at Android Police, it seems that Google is planning on making your lives more efficient by displaying the answer to some of your search queries in the search bar itself which you can see in the screenshots above. For now it seems that it only applies to searches in which the answers are simple and straightforward, like the weather.

As you can see, before you complete typing your query Google will have displayed the answers in the search bar, one of which is assuming you are searching about the weather in your area based on your location data. Of course this might not necessarily be what you’re looking for but it is pretty efficient.

It also seems to be able to ignore typos, kind of like how the current search suggestions work which is pretty neat. As it stands it seems that the feature is enabled on the beta Chrome app so if you’d like to give it a try, fire up the app and take it for a spin.
