falloutpicWhile Guillermo del Toro will no longer be co-directing Konami’s Silent Hills, it seems that his work on video games will continue. According to a recently discovered LinkedIn profile (via Videogamer), it shows a 3D artist who has been contracted by Mirada Studios to help the cinematic trailer for Fallout 4.

For those who are unfamiliar, Mirada Studios is a studio that was co-founded by Guillermo del Toro, Matthew Cullen, Javier Jiminez, and Guillermo Navarro in 2010. The company has worked with the likes of Disney, Nike, and Amazon in the past. They also have some experience in the video game industry when they helped create an ad for Nintendo’s Mario Kart 8.

That being said despite the studio being co-founded by del Toro, his involvement in the creation of the trailer remains to be seen but given that he was involved in Silent Hills, we wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t at least interested in Fallout 4. In fact this LinkedIn profile only serves to “confirm” that Fallout 4 is close to being announced.

Bethesda has recently confirmed that they will be in attendance at E3 2015 and will have something to announce, which many have speculated could be Fallout 4. It is possible it might be for another game but we’re keeping our fingers-crossed. Recent rumors have also suggested that a demo of the game might be shown off behind closed doors at the event itself.
