Verizon-LG-G-Pad-XIf you have been looking forward to picking up the octa-core LG G Pad X 8.3, then perhaps your long wait is finally over, thanks to the folks over at Verizon who will be making the tablet available from tomorrow onward. However, if you would like a smartphone to go along with that, you will have to choose something else other than the LG G4 since the flagship device is due to arrive only on June 4th.

The announcement of the LG G Pad X 8.3 tablet is definitely a pleasant surprise, where it will continue from where its predecessor, the LG G Pad 8.3, left off from a couple of years ago. Needless to say, it is not surprising at all to know that it runs on Android Lollipop as the mobile operating system version of choice, comes with an 8.3” Full HD IPS display, has an octa-core 1.5 GHz processor that runs proceedings from within – in all probability a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, LTE support, a 2MP front-facing camera, an 8MP shooter at the back, a full size USB port, 16GB of internal memory and a 4,800 mAh battery.

Expect the LG G Pad X 8.3 to go on sale for $129.99 a pop on contract, and if you would not like to remain tied down to a contract, then the $299.99 asking price is required. Alternatively, you can settle for the tablet for $12.49 monthly for two years on Verizon Edge. [Press Release]
