lg_g4_verizonAs we reported earlier today, it looks like the LG G4 is starting to ship out this week to customers. Unfortunately it looks like the first batch of countries to get the device did not include North America which has us wonder when will the phone make its way stateside? If the speculation is to be believed, then you might want to mark the 4th of June on your calendars.

The folks at PhoneArena have spotted what appears to be a clue on Verizon’s website. As you can see in the screenshot above, the date on the phone’s display states the 4th of June which for 2015 is indeed a Thursday. This has led to speculation that the 4th of June could be the launch date of the LG G4 on Verizon’s network.

There’s no guarantee that this is the real deal, but it does sound plausible. However we should note that this is just for Verizon. As you guys know the LG G4 will be launched across the four major carriers, so the release date of the phone could differ from carrier to carrier, so for all we know there is a possibility that one of the four could release the phone before the rest.

That being said, T-Mobile is expected to launch a preview of the handset come 25th of May which is about two weeks from the 4th of June, so perhaps it might not be such a stretch of the imagination after all, but try not to get your hopes up just yet as we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more info.
