Just last week, EA announced the latest Need for Speed game. Based on the trailer the game does look pretty damn good and if you’re a fan of racing games, it certainly looks like this is a game to look out for. Now previously there was no release date mentioned other than a fall 2015 release.
However according to a post on Reddit, it seems that the release date of the game was accidentally revealed on the Microsoft Xbox website. The page has since been pulled but thanks to a screenshot, it clearly shows that the game was given a 3rd of November release for the North American market and a 5th of November release for Europe.
Like we said the earlier announcement did peg it for a fall release so this date doesn’t seem too unlikely. At the same time we have to wonder if it might be too early to have a release date and that the dates placed on the Xbox website were merely placeholders until an official date could be release.
Then again we suppose they could always use “TBA” in place of a date if they’re still unsure, leading us to believe it could be real. There’s always a chance that the game might see some last minute delays so that it misses its release date, so until we hear from EA officially regarding the release, try not to get your hopes up just yet.
