assassin's-creed-new

Assassin’s Creed fans take note: Ubisoft is going to unveil the next title in this franchise in the coming week. Ubisoft has confirmed this much through its official website but for more details about the upcoming title we will have to wait until Tuesday, May 12th. Ubisoft has posted an animated teaser for this title up on its website but so far it has revealed nothing else, and why would it, with the big unveil scheduled for next week. Ubisoft will unveil the new title on May 12th at 12pm ET through a live stream.

The animated teaser doesn’t reveal much about the device, it shows what might be the protagonist’s hands with the assassin wrist-blade that’s been a trademark of this franchise. Also seen in the teaser is a wrist-mounted pistol, brass knuckles and a cane.

Ubisoft’s website contains references to the name Jacob and it appears that this might be the name of the protagonist, accompanied by the phrase “oppression has to end.”

Previous reports have suggested that the new Assassin’s Creed game might be called Assassin’s Creed Victory and that it will be set in 19th century Victorian London. If reports are to be believed this title will be released later this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC.
