oneplus-01It seems that a small number of OnePlus One owners have been complaining for quite a while now that the touchscreen display on their phones have stopped working. How long, you ask? Well quite a while because it was back in February that an update was released that was supposed to fix it, but it didn’t.

Safe to say that users aren’t particularly thrilled and have taken to the OnePlus forums to voice their complaints. Thankfully the folks at OnePlus have been monitoring the situation and have recently posted a note in which they acknowledge the problem and have stated that they are busy working on an update that will hopefully fix the problem, this time.

According to the company, “We take your feedback seriously and have been putting the One through a battery of tests and determined that there are different issues at play, some software and some hardware. We have, and will continue, to stand behind our products and honor warranty. Working closely with Synaptics, we will soon be releasing a final firmware fix.”

So far it seems that customers on the forum are pretty happy that OnePlus has acknowledged the issue. No word on when the update will be released but hopefully for the sake of affected OnePlus One users, it will be soon. In the meantime any of our readers with the OnePlus One experiencing issues with their touchscreen?
