Street Fighter fans have a chance to play the upcoming title next month. It has been confirmed today that a playable preview of Street Fighter 5 will be open to attendees of the Community Effort Orlando next month. This announcement was made during yesterday’s stream of the Combo Breaker tournament. This will be the first chance that the public gets to try out the next title in the Street Fighter franchise.

Community Effort Orlando or CEO is part of Capcom’s Pro Tour competition and it goes without saying that the event is going to attract a large number of Street Fighter fans, who will no doubt be happy with the ability to get a glimpse of what the next Street Fighter title looks like.

The new Street Fighter title is currently under development but Capcom has not yet officially confirmed when the game will be released. A recent report suggested that the title could be released in summer next year but that’s not confirmed.

Capcom has said that it’s going to run “the largest and most ambitious online beta program in franchise history” for this title before it’s released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and PC at some point next year.

I for one can’t wait for this title to arrive.
