Tesla’s all-electric cars aren’t exactly cheap. Customers can spend up to $90,000 on a new Model S which is why the company’s vehicles tend to be out of the reach of many average buyers. Tesla has started a new program though that ought to bring the price down for buyers who are willing to purchase a certified used vehicle. Like major car companies, pre-owned Tesla cars are now being sold by Elon Musk’s company.

Pre-owned Tesla cars can be purchased online by anyone willing to go the all-electric way. They’re bound to get a good deal since they’ll be paying for a used car that has maintenance and repairs ensured by Tesla itself.

Majority of the pre-owned Tesla stock available on the company’s website right now is made up of the Model S that previous owners have left behind for the AWD Model S. In the near future the list will also include leased Tesla vehicles.

It’s not like Tesla isn’t working to make a much more affordable electric car. It is, the Model E has already been confirmed by the company but it won’t be arriving for a couple of years.

Though when it does it will bring Tesla cars in the range of people willing to spend $30-$35,000 on an electric car.
