We have learned that Razer did work alongside the police in busting a counterfeit ring over in China.

As a result of this bust, a couple of men were arrested as they were caught red handed for selling counterfeit Razer products online in China. The result of this bust? Haikui Lin and Ping Gong, the criminals under the spotlight here, were each sent to a year in the slammer. Oh yeah, they too, had to pay a fine of 140,000RMB, in addition to another 150,000RMB fine which will be paid to Razer.

Min-Liang Tan, Razer Co-Founder and CEO, “Counterfeit goods put a huge toll on innovation and growth across many industries worldwide.
