Samsung is expected to launch a new high-end tablet in the very near future. Multiple rumors and reports have given us lots of specifications and details about the tablet but we have yet to see an actual image of that device. Something close to an actual image might have been leaked online today. A purported render of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 has appeared online and it just might show us how this tablet will look in the flesh.

The purported render of this 9.7 inch tablet has been leaked by a Twitter account going by @OnLeaks, such leaks from this particular account have been correct on several occasions in the past.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is expected to be even thinner than the iPad Air 2, likely measuring just 5.5mm. It may have a 9.7 inch 2,048×1,536 pixel resolution AMOLED display with a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Under the hood there might be a 64-bit octacore processor with 32GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD card slot and Wi-Fi, 4G LTE connectivity options. Android 5.0 Lollipop will likely be preinstalled on the tablet.

It’s unclear at this point in time when Samsung intends on launching the Galaxy Tab S2, so far the company has not even confirmed this existence of this device.
