SEGA

The year’s biggest gaming industry event is just around the corner and we can hardly wait to see what our favorite companies are hiding up their sleeves. Those who have been anxiously waiting for Sega’s announcements might have to hold on to their horses. Sega of America has confirmed that it won’t be present at E3 2015. Instead the company is going to focus on its restructuring efforts as well as its relocation to Southern California.

In a statement Sega of America said that it does plan to promote some of its major titles later this year but it won’t be doing that at E5 2015. The first priority is to complete its relocation from San Francisco.

The move isn’t unexpected. Sega announced earlier this year that it will be relocating from San Francisco to Southern California and cutting jobs in the process.

At E3 2014 Sega demonstrated Alien: Isolation, Sonic Boom and Hatsune Miku: Project Dive F 2nd. The major titles it’s expected to release in the near future include Total War: Warhammer, Tembo the Badass Elephant and Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax.

Atlus, a Sega subsidiary, will be attending E3 2015. Conference attendees might make note of minimal Sega presence because the company has said that it will be collaborating with its various business partners for this year’s show.
