PlayStation 4 owners might have been excited about the fact that Sony managed to secure an exclusive for Ultra Street Fighter IV but they weren’t impressed by the launch. Sony actually botched the release of Ultra Street Fighter IV for PlayStation 4 and naturally there has been a lot of criticism by the community. To calm things down the company has confirmed that a new patch for Ultra Street Fighter IV is in the pipeline and it will be released next week to fix most of the issues that players have faced so far.

Multiple reports have surfaced online from Ultra Street Fighter IV players who complain about bugs such as the mention of a button on the start screen that doesn’t even exist, input lag, buggy netcode and other issues.

In a title like Ultra Street Fighter IV input lag is probably the last thing that players want to deal with but unfortunately they do have to put up with it on the PlayStation 4.

Sony has confirmed via a tweet sent out through the official PlayStation account that a patch for Ultra Street Fighter IV is going to “land next week.” It will provide more details about this patch in the coming days.

Hopefully this patch will be able to do the trick and players will get a nice experience of the title on their PlayStation 4.
