WhatsApp is easily one of the most popular messaging platforms at the moment. We know that the company was bought over by Facebook for a whopping $19 billion, and last we checked the platform boasted 800 million active monthly users. It has also been revealed that about 30 billion messages gets sent and received via the platform on a daily basis, with users sharing 200 million voice notes everyday as well.
It has also been estimated that the average amount of time spent by WhatsApp users is about 195 minutes on a weekly basis. The app also seems to be particularly popular in Argentina with 84% of mobile phone users using the platform. Pretty cool stuff, huh?
