wwf emojiEmojis are cute and fun ways of communicating with your friends. After all a picture is worth a thousand words, right? Taking advantage in the rise in use of emojis, the World Wide Fund for Nature has asked users to start tweeting emojis based on the animal emojis which you can see in the picture above.

The idea here is to help raise awareness about endangered animals, while at the same time allowing users to donate money for every emoji that you have tweeted. Now before you think that this will end up costing you a pretty penny fret not because every emoji based on the animal you tweeted will cost you around $0.11.

This means that if you were to tweet 10 animal emojis, you would end up having to donate $1.10 which admittedly isn’t that unreasonable, right? At the end of the month, WWF will then tally up the number of emojis you have tweeted and send you a link to a website in which you can donate.

Users are not obligated to donate any money but if you’d like to help, why not? After all this will only cost you a couple of bucks, unless you decide to go on an emoji spree in which we expect it could run you up a pretty high bill, but either way it does seem like a pretty interesting idea to get users involved.
