xbox-one-appIt looks like today is a good day for those who are rocking to the Xbox console, and would like to see more interconnectivity with other devices. For starters, we have received word that the Xbox app happens to have been made available with the most recent Windows 10 Insider Preview build (build #10080) for smartphones. In a nutshell, the moment you are on the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview build on your handset, all that needs to be done would be to head to the Store Beta so that you can download and check out an early preview version of the Xbox app.

This is one particular move that will see many people’s’ favorite Xbox on Windows features arriving on Windows 10 for phones. To summarize, today’s version of the Xbox app on Windows 10 for phones will allow users to access the likes of an activity feed, achievements, friends list, activity alerts, messages, watch Game DVR clips, and connect to your Xbox One, now how about that?

Playing the patience card in the coming weeks will see at least another update, as well as the addition of more Xbox features to the preview such as OneGuide integration, Live TV Streaming, and Game Hubs, among others. [Press Release]
