Xiaomi’s ultra-affordable Mi Band has just got even better with Google Fit integration. The everyday activity tracker can now be linked to the user’s Google account and through it user can now share fitness statistics with Google Fit. Xiaomi has pushed an update for its Android app that has brought this compatibility to the device.

In order to share fitness data with Google Fit, user would be required to connect the Mi Fit app with their Google account. Until now the band was being sold through a flash sale model in India, however, in the latest move Xiaomi has announced that it will now be selling the device in U.S., U.K., and France through general sale from the Mi.com store in limited stock.

Moreover, the update also resolves various bugs from the previous software version and also brings enhanced UI in action. The Mi Fit app can be downloaded from the Play Store.

The Mi Band features three LED lights on its front, and the surface is water-proof with IP67 certification. It is backed by a 41mAh of battery that as touted by Xiaomi delivers up to 30 days of back up when fully charged. The device supports text and call notification alerts that are displayed via three LED lights on the surface of the band.
