xiaomi logoXiaomi of China, having made a name for itself in the world of smartphones in recent times, coming up with some more-than-decent devices that deserve much more limelight than what they are getting at the moment, has reiterated its commitment when it comes to rolling out tablets. However, the company has declined to make any comment concerning a potential tablet that would be known as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2.

According to the CEO at Xiaomi, Lei Jun, he recently mentioned on the company’s Weibo account that Xiaomi remains committed to churning out tablets. Now why would the CEO actually make the effort to share about this particular issue? Apparently, there were rumors making their rounds in the Chinese media that laid claim to how Xiaomi will eventually dissolve its tablet division.

Xiaomi’s success in the tablet realm has been lacklustre to say the least, and it certainly will not be able to hold a candle against what we have seen them achieve where the smartphone market is concerned. So far, this could be due to the lack of products as the Xiaomi Mi Pad is the only tablet from them to date. Would you pick up a tablet from Xiaomi, or do you prefer to stick to a so-called more reputable brand?
