Amazon has started testing a new way to provide exclusive deals to customers in Seattle, called Treasure Truck it’s a new way for customers in the city to order and pick up “highly-desirable, limited-quantity products, food and more” throughout the day. The Treasure Truck will feature one “can’t-miss” product per day for several days a week, with each day bringing a new product.

The Treasure Truck will hit the roads in Seattle starting Saturday, June 27 at 7:00 am PST with the very first product being a $99 Solstice Bali stand-up inflatable paddleboard set which normally sells for $476.99, in case you were wondering that’s a 79% discount.

Customers can see the daily product and purchase it using the Amazon Mobile Shopping app, they will then have to choose a timeslot and one of the “convenient pre-determined locations” to meet up with the track and pick up the purchase.

It may be simple but it does require an effort on the customer’s part, which includes actually getting out of the house and going to the location where the truck is parked, many people use Amazon just because they don’t want to go out of the house to buy something. At least the Treasure Truck is luring them with great discounts.

Products that will be available in limited quantities from the Treasure Truck in the coming weeks will include two prime, porterhouse 24-oz steaks, limited edition exclusive Glassybaby and a Firmstrong Beach Cruiser.
