basemarkHear ye, hear ye! It looks like Basemark and TÜV Rheinland have come together to announce a strategic partnership which will brings to the market a brand new certification class where electronic devices are concerned, ranging from the uber popular ones like smartphones, all the way to tablets, notebooks, and PCs. Basemark happens to be a global leader when it comes to performance benchmarking software, and TÜV Rheinland is a global leader in technical services. Both of their strengths and assets will be complemented in the partnership.

This partnership will see customers of TÜV Rheinland gain a powerful service for product performance and evaluation regardless of what stage of development it is at the moment, and TÜV Rheinland happens to be proficient in quality, ergonomics and safety testing of products, while cross-platform software supplied by Basemark ala the Basemark X, Basemark ES, and Basemark OS will be able to deliver value-added opportunity in order to fine-tune the devices’ speed, stability and overall performance.

At the end of the day, manufacturers will be able to precisely match the product with customers’ demands, hoping to make it easier to hit the nail on the head when the product is released in the market. We do hope that this partnership will be a lasting one.
