blulifeoneBlu, one of the lesser known smartphone manufacturers over here in the US, still intends to make their mark by offering not one, but two new smartphones, namely the Life One (2015 Edition) and the Life 8 XL. The former was revealed at CES earlier this year in January, while the latter, the Life 8 XL, happens to be a totally new handset.

For starters, the Blu Life One (2015 Edition) will come with a 5″ 720p IPS display with a Snapdragon 410 chipset, where you will find the likes of 1GB RAM, a 13MP camera at the back, a 5MP selfie shooter, 8GB of internal memory, and a 2,820 mAh battery to keep it going. There will also be two SIM card slots that helps you compartmentalize your social life with a single handset, and there will be LTE Cat.4 connectivity thrown into the mix, too.

As for the Blu Life 8 XL, it has a more spacious 5.5″ 720p IPS display, and thanks to the MT6592M chipset with an octa-core Cortex-A7 processor, it certainly packs more punch to boot. An 8MP camera at the back and a 2MP shooter in front does not amount to much these days, but it does come with 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, dual SIM support, and a 2,920 mAh battery. Both the Blu Life One (2015) and Life 8 XL will arrive with Android KitKat, although they are slated for a Lollipop update later this year. Press Release
