pterodactylDon’t you hate it when your internet gets cut-off or disrupted? Given that most games these days require you to be online, this means that you can’t even play games to pass the time until your internet connection has been restored! The travesty! Well you might recall that last year Google introduced an Easter Egg in its Chrome browser.

Basically when it detects you are offline, it offers you the chance to play an endless runner game where you play as T-Rex dinosaur and you attempt to jump as many cacti as possible. It’s not particularly difficult but neither is it challenging, but it’s a good way to pass the time. However according to Google’s François Beaufort, the game has been given an update.

As you can see in the screenshot above, there is now a new obstacle that gamers will have to avoid in the form of a pterodactyl. Gamers will have to duck the pterodactyl while jumping over cacti, so safe to say that it got a bit more challenging for gamers and will put your reflexes to the test.

The pterodactyls will be encountered once you score about 500 in the game, but before that it is business as usual. How often will you actually play this game? Well given that it requires you to not have an internet connection, we’re hoping not often, but at the same time it does look too fun to pass up!
