fallout shelterEarlier this week and much to the surprise of everyone, Bethesda announced Fallout Shelter, a mobile game designed for iOS that seemed to follow in the footsteps of games like SimCity, Tiny Tower, XCOM, and more in which players are tasked to build and expand their bunker, defend it against raiders, send out exploration parties, and more.

Given how much love gamers have for the Fallout franchise, it wasn’t too surprising that the game became popular to the point where it even surpassed King’s Candy Crush Saga in revenue. However if there is one point of contention that some gamers might have with the game is the fact that it is iOS-only at this point in time.

The good news is that Fallout Shelter will not be limited to iOS devices forever. According to a recent announcement by the Bethesda Twitter account, it has been revealed that an Android version is in the works and that it should be arriving in the next few months. “Yes, we’re also working on Fallout Shelter for Android. Hopefully out in a few months.”

We suppose an Android version was probably a given, but considering that Bethesda kept mum on the issue at the time of launch led many players to become curious about its Android availability. That being said it looks like even before Fallout 4 has been released, Bethesda already has a hit on their hands.
