People who use the Amazon Fire TV for casual gaming are going to like what GameFly has announced today. The company’s new game streaming service is coming to Amazon’s set-top box and it will provide users with a handful of games that they can stream all for just $7-$10 per month. This exclusive deal is going to significantly increase the number of games available for the Fire TV.

GameFly is best known for its video game rentals through mail, but today it unveiled a new streaming service that will bring games straight to TVs exclusively through the Amazon Fire TV.

Users will be able to rent titles from six different packs, for example the Adventure Pack offers Overlord II and Batman: Arkham City for up to $10 per month.

Initially some 50 titles are available in different packs through the service but GameFly has said that it will add more in the near future.

Amazon also pointed out in an announcement today that over the past three months it has added more than 600 new channels, games and apps to its Fire TV devices. There are now more than 1,600 titles available on the platform and the list will continue to grow.

The game streaming service will add more value to the Amazon Fire TV which is already up against some robust set-top boxes that focus greatly on casual gaming.
