GTA fans who like to keep up with the news would probably be aware by now that two major content updates have been promised by Rockstar for Grand Theft Auto Online this year, one of which was confirmed only last week. Rockstar didn’t provide a confirmed release date for the GTA Online Ill-Gotten Gains DLC back then but now it has confirmed when this DLC is going to be released for all Grand Theft Auto Online players.
The DLC is called Ill-Gotten Gains because that’s basically what it brings, players will be able to purchase jets made out of solid gold and guns made out of the same material to go with their jets, and there are plenty of flashy cars and expensive accessories to choose from.
The story behind this DLC is that due to the rise of high-end crime throughout southern San Andreas the demand for luxury products and services has taken off, which is why merchants are rushing to fill their stocks and serve the people who have newly acquired wealth from dubious activities.
Ill-Gotten Gains includes four new vehicles, vehicle wraps, gold-plated helicopter and jet, hundreds of new clothing items and many other accessories. Gun engravings and skins are also included in this free DLC.
GTA Online Ill-Gotten Gains DLC will be available for free to all players come June 10th. Rockstar is hosting an Ill-Gotten Gains Social Club Event from June 12-14 which brings cash on offer in-game and bonus RP.
