Last week Blizzard announced that they would be introducing new hero skins to Hearthstone. The first hero they introduced was Magni Bronzebeard who would serve as an alternate skin to Garrosh Hellscream in the warrior class. Well it looks like the second hero skin has been revealed and it is none other than Alleria Windrunner who will be used by the hunter class.

For those unfamiliar with their Warcraft lore, Alleria Windrunner was one of the sisters (the oldest, in fact) of Sylvanas Windrunner, the current leader of the Forsaken. As it stands the fate of Alleria remains unknown as far as the Warcraft universe is concerned, but information about her can be found scattered throughout the game.

The Alleria Windrunner skin will presumably be priced at $9.99 which is the same as Magni Bronzebeard. In case this is the first time you’re hearing about hero skins, these are basically skins Blizzard will be using as an alternative to the current heroes representing each class. This gives players more options to choose from and in the case of Alleria Windrunner, she will serve as an alternate to Rexxar.

She will get her own animations and custom voice acting, but apart from the change in looks, this will have absolutely zero impact on how the game is played. In the meantime in an update to Hearthstone, Blizzard has also introduced a new Tavern Brawl mode.
