Back in 2014, Nintendo released Hyrule Warriors for the Nintendo Wii U and if you were wondering if you would ever get to enjoy the game on your Nintendo 3DS, you’re in luck as during Nintendo’s E3 presentation, the company has officially announced Hyrule Warriors Legends, a port of the Wii U version of the game.

Now the port will not be a direct and complete port of the game. It will retain the same elements as Hyrule Warriors for the Wii U, but Nintendo has also announced some changes that they will be making to it and will also be introducing new features that gamers can look forward to as well.

According to Nintendo’s description, “In the portable version, experience new story elements and playable characters from by The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker game such as Tetra, King of Hyrule and more. Additional new features, such as the ability to switch between different characters on the fly, allow you to strategically position characters and defeat foes in all-new ways like never before.”

Unfortunately Nintendo did not offer up when the game would be released, only that we can expect it in Q1 2016 so we guess we’ll have to keep an eye out for it. Hyrule Warriors Legends will be joining The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes as another Zelda-related game for the 3DS console.
