LG G4 owners on Verizon Wireless should keep an eye out for a software update that the carrier is rolling out today, it’s nothing major, only an incremental update that brings some bug fixes and overall improvements for the smartphone as well as a couple of important tweaks. The changelog has gone live on Verizon’s website and the update should start rolling out shortly to all G4 owners on the country’s largest mobile network.

The software update carrying version number VS98611A has been confirmed today for the LG G4 on Verizon Wireless, the update is intended to improve the performance of LG’s latest flagship smartphone.

As per the official changelog this update enables enhanced Folio display during a call, though you’ll only ever use it if you have a Quick Circle case snapped on to your G4.

Today’s update for the LG G4 also enables the dialer app to consistently display the Contact and non-Contact numbers, it adds the enhanced Advanced Calling feature to the handset as well.

Verizon is likely rolling out this update in stages so it could take up to a few hours for this minor update to go live for all LG G4 owners on Verizon Wireless in the United States.
