Earlier this week Blizzard introduced the very first Hearthstone hero skin. The hero in question is Magni Bronzebeard who will act as a replacement/alternative to Garrosh Hellscream who currently represents the Warrior class in the game. The developer later introduced a new hero skin in Alleria Windrunner who represents the Hunter class and will be an alternative to Rexxar.

Now for those of you who are playing the Mage class in the game, or who perhaps favor the class, you might be pleased to learn that another hero skin has been unveiled, and this time in the form of Medivh. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Warcraft lore, Medivh was an instrumental figure in opening the Dark Portal, thus allowing the Burning Legion into the world of Azeroth.

As he is a mage, his hero skin will be an alternative to Jaina Proudmoore who is currently the representative of the Mage class within the game. As usual the new hero skin won’t impact the game in any way, at least not as far as mechanics are concerned. It will introduce a new portrait, voice acting, and animations, but beyond that the game will remain exactly the same.

Unfortunately as we mentioned previously, these hero skins are not free. In fact they can’t even be earned by gold and will cost gamers $9.99 each, so if you think you can justify paying that much just for new animations and voice acting, you can look forward to it arriving in the shop soon.
