If you have played or heard about the Mirror’s Edge game, you know that it is a game whose moves are largely inspired by parkour, which means that it was only a matter of time before we started seeing videos that reenact the game’s moments in real-life using parkour. Well if you’re looking forward to Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and need to whet your appetite, the video above will definitely get you going.

Put together by YouTuber Cladiu Voicu, the video is basically a reenactment of Mirror’s Edge using real-life freerunners. Of course there are some video effects throw in there to make it seem like it’s really part of the Mirror’s Edge world, but all the stunts are actually performed by real-life actors, making it all the more impressive.

In fact this isn’t the first time we’ve seen such videos. Previously we had seen parkour-inspired videos based on titles like Assassin’s Creed Unity, which are titles that incorporate parkour into the game, so like we said earlier, it really doesn’t come as a surprise that we would see Mirror’s Edge get the same treatment.

In the meantime DICE and EA have confirmed that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be the next title in the series. More details about the game are expected to be shared at E3 2015 which will be kicking off later this coming week, so do check back with us then for the details. In the meantime if you have a few minutes to spare, you will want to watch the video above.
