moto-x-2014-review-7We have read yesterday on how the Moto X 2013 from Motorola has already started to pick up the Android 5.1 Lollipop update, and hence, it is no surprise to hear that the Moto X 2014 model too, would be on the similar receiving end of the Android 5.1 Lollipop update. If you happen to run along with the current generation Moto X, while keeping a keen eye out for a future model, then be patient – the Over The Air (OTA) update ought to be making its way somewhere, somehow, to your device.

Do take note that the Moto X (2014) model is running on Android 5.0 Lollipop at the moment, and many owners would be pleased as punch to be on the receiving end of this new update. What will Android 5.1 Lollipop bring to the table? It will introduce a slew of features and enhancements, where among them include notification tweaks, new drop-down menus for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi within the avenue of quick settings, in addition to a myriad of unseen adjustments which will ensure that the Moto X will run a whole lot more smooth.

Do keep on checking on whether the update is on its way or not, and you will be a happy camper eventually.
