kinzieIt looks like if you happen to be rocking with Verizon Wireless as your mobile carrier of choice, you would be able to pick up a brand new handset from the folks over at Verizon soon – where it will be known as the Motorola Droid Kinzie, where it will carry the model number XT1585. The Kinzie was leaked around a month back (touting an “unbreakable display“), and hence it is no surprise to carry the Droid branding if one were to come under the Motorola umbrella. A benchmark listing of the device has already been spotted, and more details about its hardware specifications have since been revealed as you can see right after the jump.

For starters, the Motorola Droid Kinzie will come with a 5.5” QHD (2,560 x 1,440) touchscreen display, a 20MP shooter at the back with 4K video capture ability, a 5MP front-facing camera for selfie lovers, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.

Expect Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset to run proceedings from underneath the hood, where there is an octa-core CPU in the big.LITTLE setup that features a quartet of high-performance Cortex-A57 cores and another quartet of battery-friendly Cortex-A53 ones. The prototype had Android 5.1.1 Lollipop in tow in the test, alongside wireless connectivity for the likes of NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
