oneplus2_typec1It has been confirmed earlier this week by OnePlus themselves that their next-gen smartphone, the OnePlus Two, will feature USB Type-C connectivity, essentially making it one of the first few phones in the world to adopt the standard. However we’re sure that fans of the company are probably curious as to what the phone looks like and while photos have yet to surface, this might be the next best thing.

According to the folks at MyDrivers (via PhoneArena), they have managed to get their hands on what appears to be photos of the USB Type-C cable that would be bundled together with the OnePlus Two. Based on the photos, the design of the cable certainly reminds us of the teaser that the company uploaded a couple of days ago.

There is also the OnePlus logo on the head of the cable to show that it is of the company’s design, but then again anyone could easily print such a logo so do take it with a grain of salt for now. That being said if this is the real deal, we have to admit we’ve never been this excited for a cable before.

Unlike most USB cables that are tubular, OnePlus seems to have adopted a flat cable design. There is also a small clip that helps users keep it bundled neatly and will not have to worry about it getting tangled up. It also sports a nice bright red cable that should be rather identifiable which is a nice touch.

There is no solid confirmation of when the OnePlus Two will be launched, but it is expected to be announced in the second half of the year around July or August, so do check back with us at a later date for the details.
