Considering how well the rebooted Tomb Raider did, it isn’t surprising that the developers have plans for a sequel. In fact it was just last year that it was announced that a new Tomb Raider game was in the works and if you’re wondering what we might be able to expect, it would seem that a trailer for the game has leaked out a little earlier than expected.

With the Rise of the Tomb Raider being published by Microsoft, we had expected that the trailer would make its debut at E3 during Microsoft’s press conference on the 15th of June, but it looks like the trailer went live ahead of schedule, but hey we can’t really complain as we are excited by what we are seeing.

Unfortunately the trailer doesn’t tell us what we might be able to expect in terms of gameplay and features, but the trailer does sound pretty compelling and it sounds like the story will be an exciting one. The game will initially be released as an exclusive for the Xbox One console, but like we said in an earlier report, the exclusivity is only a timed one which means that somewhere down the line, we expect that it will be released on the PlayStation 4 as well.

If you have a few minutes to spare, do check out the trailer in the video above, and remember to check back with us during E3 2015 for more video game coverage and details about Rise of the Tomb Raider.
