sony-xperia-z4-tablet-008The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet was announced a few months ago at MWC 2015. It is a sleek-looking device with some pretty impressive hardware specs under its hood and if it got your attention and you wanted to get your hands on it, you could have to wait a while in order to get it.

This is according to reports who have noted that the Xperia Z4 Tablet has been delayed. The tablet was originally pegged to be shipped late May, but unfortunately it ended up being delayed until 17th June, but it looks like it might have been delayed again. According to the listing on Sony’s website, they claim that the tablet will now begin shipping 29th June instead.

We suppose a couple of extra weeks but at the same time we can’t blame customers for being annoyed, especially when there are plenty of alternatives to the Xperia Z4 Tablet in the market at the moment. It is unclear as to why the tablet has been delayed but hopefully the 29th of June will be the date it finally starts to ship.

As a quick recap for those who missed our initial coverage and hands-on, the Xperia Z4 Tablet will come with a 10.1-inch 2560 x 1600 display. It will sport a scratch-resistant glass which will also have an anti-fingerprint coating. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 6,000mAh battery, and 8.1MP/5.1MP cameras. It is currently only available in Europe with no mention of a possible release stateside.
