spotify-1If you’d like to check out new features and updates before everyone else does, joining an app’s beta program is usually a good way to go about that. It also helps with the discovery of bugs, security exploits, vulnerabilities, and more that developers can patch before the app’s final release.

That being said if you’re a fan of participating in beta programs, you might be interested to learn that Spotify has launched such a program. According to Spotify, “We would like to get your feedback on the updates and improvements we are making to our application, so we’ve created a Beta version that you can try out.”

The beta program was launched on the 29th of May and it is a continuous process, so fret not if you have not signed up yet. That being said, the signup process is not a guarantee that you will get in. Users can submit their applications and be considered for beta status, although we’re not sure if they’re choosing based on your background or if perhaps it’s a first-come-first-serve-basis.

Either way for those who are interested just hop on over to Spotify’s website for the details, although we should note that this being a beta program, your experience might not necessarily be ideal as there could still be bugs in the program that need to be fixed, but if you like lending a helping hand and being part of the process, why not?
