LG G3 owners on T-Mobile have had to wait for a considerable amount of time just to get a taste of Lollipop, the software update has already been released by the carrier for many other high-end devices but LG’s 2014 flagship owners still had to wait for quite a bit. Not for long though, because it has been confirmed today that approval for this update has been granted, which means that the roll out will start in the very near future.

It’s all good news today for folks who own the LG G3 on T-Mobile. The carrier has finally approved said update and should start sending it out to users very soon, Lollipop was released for the LG G3 on T-Mobile previously but additional updates have been made to the build which will be included in the upcoming release.

The confirmation comes from T-Mobile’s senior product manager who wrote on Twitter that the LG G3 Lollipop update was approved yesterday and that it “should be available soon!.” We’ll certainly take his word for it.

Now that the approval has been granted is shouldn’t take much longer for the update to arrive, so users can start mentally preparing themselves for the new update, which many of them have been anxiously waiting for.

Lollipop brings a redesigned user interface experience, as well as many new features including but not limited to a new notifications experience, improved security features and much more.
