trips4If your email’s inbox is particularly messy, then Inbox by Gmail is probably a lifesaver as it automatically helps sort your mail out, like filing emails from PayPal, eBay, Amazon, and etc. under Purchases, airline ticket reservations, hotel bookings, and etc. under Trips, and so on, but even then it can still get a bit messy especially if you have multiple bookings made for a single trip.

Thankfully Google is ever-working to organize your life and if you have signed up for Inbox by Gmail, you might be interested to learn that Google has recently added a new Trips Bundle feature to the service. Basically what this feature does is that it further organizes your emails, sort of like creating a folder within a folder to better compartmentalize all your emails.

As you can see in the screenshot to the right, multiple bookings for flights, car rentals, and hotels can now be grouped under one trip as Inbox can detect and surmise that all those bookings made within that particular period of time will be for the same trip and destination. Each section within the bundles can be expanded where additional information like the confirmation number, phone number of the hotel, dates, address, and more can be displayed.

The Trip Bundles feature has been added to both the desktop version and mobile version of Inbox by Gmail. To access it, just go to the side menu and select “Trips” and it will display all the details. Users will also be able to scroll back to older trips for nostalgic purposes.
