It’s Amazon’s 20th birthday tomorrow and to celebrate the occasion it’s conducting a one-day event called Prime Day to offer “more deals than Black Friday.” Just after midnight PT on July 15th countless exclusive lightning deals will be available with new deals being added at every ten minutes throughout the day. Deals will be available on “sought-after” devices as well as popular toys and pet supplies.
The company has sent out a press release just now to tease the kind of deals that will be up on Amazon tomorrow. For example the Fire TV Stick will be $15 off during the day, with $30 being cut off the Kindle and $60 off the Fire HD 7 and Fire HD 7 Kids Edition.
There will be smart HDTVs for under $200 and “Bose headphones at the lowest price ever on Amazon,” 30% off select clothing, shoes, jewelry, watches & more and up to 70% off on some amazing books.
Amazon will only be offering these deals to Prime members, it’s possible to get in on the sales event tomorrow by signing up for a free Amazon Prime account.
It’s not like the company won’t be facing any competition on its birthday, Walmart has already announced that it too will be running an online sales event tomorrow, it’s certainly going to be an interesting day.
