Back in March this year Amazon introduced Dash Buttons, these small buttons aim to make ordering much easier for people who use Amazon to shop for products like coffee and paper towels. There’s no need to pull out your computer, smartphone or tablet to fire up Amazon. You don’t even need to visit the website for this to work, there’s one button dedicated for one product and pressing it automatically places an order.

Amazon launched Dash Buttons as a test initially and provided them to Prime members by invitation only, it appears to have achieved favorable results during the test because Dash Buttons are now available for all Prime members at $4.99 a pop.

Dash Buttons currently support 18 different products so there are 18 different buttons to be had for products like Bounty paper towel rolls, Glad bags, Gerber baby formula, Smartwater bottles and other products like laundry detergent and toilet paper.

Buttons are specific to each brand but you will have some choice over the products that are offered by that particular brand but that’s about it for now.

Amazon Dash Buttons offer a convenient way to order commonly used household items just be sure not to accidently press the button when you don’t need any more laundry detergent.
