Last year during BlizzCon, Blizzard announced Overwatch, an upcoming FPS title whose launch trailer seemed like something straight out of Pixar. In fact the trailer was so good to the point where it was even nominated for a Webby award. That being said given how cartoony Blizzard’s games are, how would Overwatch work if it had been a live-action trailer?

Thankfully we are able to find out, thanks to YouTube channel RP WhaBam who put together their own Overwatch-inspired live-action trailer. Now you might think that it could end up being a tad cheesy as is usually the case with fanmade trailers and videos, but surprisingly this video was very well put together.

Heck, for a game that hasn’t even been released yet, the costumes for the characters are pretty spot on as well. Granted it might not necessarily be the most realistic trailer (the fight sequences could have been better), but overall it was a pretty good job. If you have a couple of minutes to spare then you’ll definitely want to check it out in the video above.

In the meantime Blizzard’s Overwatch has yet to receive a more specific release date. The game’s beta hasn’t even begun yet so chances are we could be in for a wait before the game is released, as per Blizzard’s usual practices, so we guess we’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled for more information.
