bw_p5_wirelessLast year audio company Bowers & Wilkins announced the updated P5 headphones. The headphones are based on the original P5 but unfortunately apart from a slight upgrade, they were still pretty much tethered like most headphones are through its cable. However if you loved the P5 but wished it was wireless, you’re in luck.

The company has recently announced the Bowers & Wilkins P5 wireless Bluetooth model. As the name implies, these headphones will pair with your media player/computer through Bluetooth connectivity. Apart from the addition of Bluetooth, the headphones will remain the same as the P5 Series 2 from last year.

This means that you can look forward to the same 40mm drivers, removable leather earpads, and an aluminum frame. There will also be an addition of three-buttons on the right earpiece so that you can control your music without having to reach for your phone or computer. There is a built-in microphone, and a battery that the company claims will last you a good 17 hours.

With the addition of buttons, features, and wireless connectivity, there will also be a slight increase in price. The P5 Series 2 was priced at $300 but if you want the new wireless model, it will be priced $100 more at $400.
