If you like to watch a lot of videos on Facebook you might be irritated by the fact that it has not been possible to scroll through the News Feed and watch the video at the same time. You either have to watch the entire video or leave it in between to continue scrolling through the various posts, updates, photos etc. Facebook is finally making this right by testing floating videos in News Feed.

As the name suggests users will be able to pop-out videos from the News Feed which will then float alongside the content so that users can continue scrolling and watching for as long as they like.

Many Facebook users are seeing a new button on Facebook videos which then pops them out and floats on the lower left of the screen. The floating video can easily be dragged across the entire page or even shared at any point.

The floating video will disappear though if you head to another page so as long as you’re in one particular page you’ll be fine. It gives users the best of both worlds, they can continue mindlessly scrolling through the News Feed while the video continues to play as well.

It’s a test at this point in time so it may take a while before Facebook decides to make this feature available for all of its users.
