2877887-fallout4_trailer_end_1433355589There are many gamers out there who probably couldn’t be more pleased to learn that after years of fakes and anticipating, Fallout 4 is real and it will be released later this year. However there are also gamers who have probably no idea why the game is such a big deal, although it seems that these group of gamers now have the chance of finding out why.

It has been announced on Major Nelson’s blog that if gamers were to pre-order the digital copy of Fallout 4 for the Xbox One, they will also be given a free copy of Fallout 3 for their Xbox 360. Don’t have an Xbox 360? Don’t worry because according to Microsoft, the game will be playable on the Xbox One once backwards compatibility has been made available.

Based on the wording on Major Nelson’s blog, it seems that Fallout 3 will be made available to gamers within 7-10 days of them pre-ordering the game, so if you really are curious or if you didn’t get a chance to play the previous Fallout titles, now’s a good time to do so and start catching up and getting acquainted with the Fallout universe before the fourth installment hits, which last we heard is the 10th of November 2015.
